Stand

I tried to stand, but could not
So I knelt before Your throne
Breathing in, breathing out

I went to You in prayer
I laid my sorrows at Your feet
You eased my hurt and heartache

Fresh strength you bestowed me
I felt your peace and love
I rose from my knees

And I held my head high
For in You I know
I can fight through another day
With You by my side, I will stand
